Pet owners

Veterinary Prescriber is a subscription service for veterinary surgeons/veterinarians and other veterinary professionals. We are not set up to offer advice or support directly to pet owners. However, we have teamed up with our good friend Paul Aiello, a pet parent in Canada, Paul is appalled by the lack of information pet parents are given on medicines for their precious pets when they visit the veterinarian, particularly in Canada and the USA. So, he has created a fantastic resource specifically for pet parents so that they can look up the package leaflets for veterinary medicines, Right now, this covers about 3,000 medicines from the North American drug database, but Veterinary Prescriber is collaborating with Paul to create a UK version of his pet drugs information guide, which we will eventually host on this page, So watch this space!

Welcome!

If you are a pet owner and are searching for information about your pets medication we invite you to visit https://www.healthcareforpets.com/pet-drugs-information-guide/ which will allow  you to quickly access information on over 3,000 animal health drugs.

A very relevant feature is the Medical Display Panel section where you can find the actual packaging of a drug from the manufacturer. You may ask why this is important, the reason is that veterinarians in most cases are prescribers and dispensers and often they will provide you with a limited amount of a drug in a pill bottle with some instructions but not the full label and monograph that has additional information about the drug.
